How Are You Overcoming Your Fibromyalgia?

Three famous library pigs in Keswick, OntarioImage via Wikipedia

I took a new sleep medication last night and today all I want to do is sleep. A lot of the process of trying to find medications to treat my symptoms of fibromyalgia is about trial and error. Every once in a while something I try does work, but more often than not, I wind up out of commission for a few days recovering from the medication's side-effects. The process makes me feel like a guinea pig.

So today I searched YouTube for a fibromyalgia video that could stand in as my blog post for today and found this one by Patients Like Me. They launched a fibromyalgia community on their website one year ago and asked online participants
How are you overcoming your fibromyalgia? I really like the responses that they received; I could have contribute many of the same ones myself. Of course, my answer to this question is: I am learning to live my best life despite fibromyalgia.

Let me know what you think about this video by leaving me a comment. And I'd love to hear from you about how you are overcoming your fibromyalgia...
