Subj: DNA Breed ID Results for Brunswick

Thank you for using BioPet Vet Labs DNA Breed Identification Test. The breeds listed below indicate the breeds that we detected in your dog. These breeds are listed in order of prevalence, with the most prevalent breed listed first.

Poodle

Chinese Shar-Pei

Your Ancestry Analysis Certificate and Breed Behavior, Health and Personality Summary are being mailed to you today. These will provide a more detailed explanation of your results.

So this is what a Shar-Poo looks like (apparently):

poo pei

Mind you, we adopted him from the West Los Angeles Animal Shelter, so we are in no way fueling the "cross-breed every dog in existence with a poodle" madness that has taken over the mixed mutt dog business in the past several years.

The NFA Clothespin Challenge

The National Fibromyalgia Association (NFA) Clothespin Challenge:
Clothespin Kit
Here is how it works:
  1. Place a clothespin on your finger
  2. Set a timer for 30 minutes
  3. See how long you can bear the pain. Did you leave the clothespin on for 15 minutes? 10? 5?
  4. For each minute you adverted that clothespin pain, donate to the NFA-$20 a minute, $10 a minute, $5 a minute...
  5. NOW. Imagine this pain forever... This should help you understand what it is like to live with constant pain - but people with FM can't just "remove" the pain the way you can remove that clothespin!
Interested in helping? Support the National Fibromyalgia Association. Every penny helps us support FM patients as they strive to manage their pain.
