9/11/09: Making a Difference ... It Starts With Us

9/11 ReflectionsImage by Sister72 via Flickr

Today is an opportunity to pause and remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001. It is also a day to remember the brave men and women in Iraq and Afghanistan who fight and those who have died in the name of our freedom. It is also a day for us to contemplate how we can be of service to one another.

Wondering how you can make a difference? I suggest reading the post A Solemn Anniversary – And A Choice and joining the A Team at It Starts With Us. Become part of a group of who's mission is to to change the world for the better by devoting 15 minutes every week to a mission. Past missions included:
  1. Change the world with $2.
  2. Be the difference for someone else.
  3. With the help of a friend, make a positive impact on someone's life.
So what do you say? Are you ready join a global community of individuals focused on making a positive impact in the lives of the people around them?

Remember, everything can change, for the worst or for the better, in a New York Minute.
