Great job, Selena! I don't walk much anywhere any more. I used to love to walk on trails and now it's difficult to go to places where I have to walk before I can get into a wheelchair, such as getting on a train to go into NYC. I'm sad I cannot simply take a walk with my son.
I'm jealous of the shoes you showed. It's flats, sneakers and flip-flops for me. Fashion boots and high heels are out of the range of possibility!
High heels and boots are out for me too. I have horrible coordination and balance problems now and broken m foot and seriously sprain my ankle in the past few years. I often wonder if fibromyalgia makes you more prone to klutziness.
Those are more images of my past, not my present. You know, the changes chronic illness brings to your life and your memories of how things used to be...
Thanks for your comment Emily.
Love the video and the song. Yes, it's also my experience that fibromyalgia makes us more clumsy and my balance is so affected, I stumble all over the place. Yet, back in the 70's I used to run huge platforms and heels: I think giving up attractive and fashionable footwear is one of the things that bothers me most about this.
